Home The Villa Design and Construction

Concrete construction makes up the bulk of the approximately 10.000 square feet of living space while being softened by contrasting indigenous wood doors and windows and intricate inlaid stonework throughout along with 3 central palapa thatch roof features. The imposing 30ft high main wooden palapa houses the great room, while open, extravagant and modern, is a uniquely warm and comfortable living space allowing for unobstructed spectacular panoramic vistas of both ocean and mountains.

The design brings the panoramic view in to all of the main areas of the home while overlooking the arched infinity pool sweeping out toward the sunset to the West along the Samaná Peninsula, Playa Cozon, Playa Bonita, Playa Perdida, North to the Ocean and Piedras de Las Ballenas and all around to Playa Las Ballenas.

White polished concrete floors with inlaid stone run throughout the majority of the ground levels along with the unique incorporation of the timbers and the spiraling framework leading to the peak of the suspended signature Cana.

Luxury and comfort is incorporated in the design with all bedrooms fully air-conditioned along with alternative air flow through the home through fully operable louvered wooden windows and doors.
